Privacy Policy

At Ridizy, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the Ridizy employee commute platform, why we collect it, and how we protect it. By using the service, you consent to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what the service needs to get you picked up on time and dropped safely:

Identity and contact details — name, work email, phone number, and employee ID, provided by you or your employer.
Location data — GPS-based location during trips and your saved pickup/drop points, used for accurate pickups, live tracking, and route planning.
Payment information — billing details needed to process transactions and generate invoices, where payments apply. Card data is handled by PCI-compliant payment processors, never stored on our servers.
Usage data — booking history, ride preferences, app activity, and the feedback you share, used to improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and improve the employee commute service — including route optimization, booking management, and timely pickups and drop-offs.
  • Communicate with you about bookings, schedule changes, delays, and service updates.
  • Process payments, generate invoices, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Meet safety and compliance requirements — trip audit trails, SOS response, and escort verification — and act on issues or feedback you raise.

We never sell your personal data, and we never use it for third-party advertising.

3. How We Protect Your Information

  • All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, using industry-standard protocols, and hosted in Indian data centres.
  • Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis, with role-based controls and full audit logs.
  • Our security practices are reviewed regularly and independently — Ridizy is ISO 27001 certified and SOC 2 Type II attested.

4. Sharing and Retention

We share data only where the service requires it: with your employer's transport team (trip and attendance records), with drivers and transport vendors (your name, pickup point, and contact for the assigned trip only), and with authorities where the law requires. Personal data is retained for the duration of your organisation's agreement with Ridizy and deleted or anonymised within 90 days of offboarding.

5. Your Rights

In line with India's DPDP Act, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent for optional processing at any time — in the app under Settings → Privacy, or by writing to us.
